Raju Raj Joshi is a resident of Kathmandu-19. Joshi, who served as a district committee secretary of Nepali Congress, had joined politics in the 1980s. He has an MBA from TU. He also served as vice-president of Socialist International. He is the brother of Industry Minister Nabindra Raj Joshi.
A local of Lagantole, Bidyasundar Shakya joined politics as a leader of UML’s youth wing. He was elected twice as ward committee chairman of Kathmandu-21. He is the secretary of the party’s Kathmandu District Committee and holds a bachelor’s degree in management.Sarwottam Dangol is from Tahachal. A politburo member of CPN (Maoist Center), he had joined politics in the 1970s. He was jailed for over two years and was disappeared by the state for 84 days during the anti Panchayat movement. He has master’s degree in management from the TU.
