The ‘Resham Filili’ actress, Menuka Pradhan, is not a new name in the Nepali film industry. She had acted in a number of movies in the past including 2012 movie ‘Visa Girl’ and others. In addition to acting in movie she is also known as an item girl in various movies. Recently she was featured in an item song of Nikhil Upreti’s come-back movie ‘Bhairav’. Menuka had to dance in the item song when Rekha Thapa refused to do the item song. Although Menuka had starred in various movies, ‘Resham Filili’ is the first movie she has been featured in leading role. Menuka Pradhan spent her childhood in a film loving environment with movies, music, dance and movie dialogues. With the support of her parents, Menuka decided to make career in movie at the age of 12.
