Nepali handicraft of Hindu temple made by Arun Sagar Khattry Chhettry

Arun Sagar Khattry Chhettry is a Nepali citizen living in United Kingdom since seven years. Chhettry says that although he has been living there since many years, Nepal is in his heart just like Nepalese spread around the globe. He added that he always wishes to preserve Nepali culture and tradition.

Chhettry has recently made a handicraft of Nepali-style temple. In the video above, he can be seen presenting and explaining the handicraft he had made. It is a Hindu temple of Pagoda style. He had designed the whole structure of the temple with his hand. The temple has been made by using hard cardboard and aluminum coils.

Chhettry says it was a long and tedious task to make the temple, adding that he is very happy to present it before us.
"I was motivated to make the model as it reflects Nepali culture and arts," he said, adding that he has said modern technologies in the temple model. One of the special features of the temple is that if the front bell is rung, the door of the temple opens by itself, side bells ring automatically and lights glow up among others.
