UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Vice-Chairman Bam Dev Gautam, senior pioneers Jhalanath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Standing Committee part Subas Nembang had touched base in the Jhapa region to dispatch the 15-day battle for constitution usage, nearby races, national solidarity and social congruity.
Legislator Rabin Koirala said isolate projects will be held in Sallbari, Sukhani, Garamani and Jyamirgadhi where the pioneers will pay tributes to the saints.
UML Chair Oli, who participated in the ‘Jhapa Rebellion’, among different pioneers went by Sukhani Park and offered tributes to the saints to authoritatively dispatch the across the country crusade.
On March 4, 1973, five pioneers related with the Jhapa disobedience –arrested by the then ‘Panchayat state framework’ – were shot and executed without trying to hide at a wilderness in Sukhani, Ilam in the wake of being brought their from Chandagadhi, Jhapa under the appearance of moving them to another jail.
Ramnath Dahal, Netra Ghimire, Biren Rajbanshi, Krishna Kuinkel and Narayan Shrestha were executed in the wilderness.
The battle, which began from Kakarbhitta of Jhapa, will close on March 18 in Surkhet.
Exposure materials for the battle have been circulated in Nepali, Maithali, Tharu, Doteli and Bhojpuri dialects.
