office of the Kathmandu district chapter of FNJ has been padlocked protesting against the FNJ central office’s involvement in the transfer of the membership en masse from various associates to the Kathmandu chapter at a time when the decision was already made to stop the transfer. Press Chautari, Press Union, Nepal Press Society, Revolutionary Journalists’ Organization, Media Nepali joined the drive to padlock the office. They demanded the FNJ central office to immediately take action to stop the transfer. Also, they demanded the repeal of the membership transfer since February 28.
